Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including public TTS and internal payment, subscription, auth, and consumption tracking APIs.
  • Own and optimize the backend API landscape for performance and maintainability.
  • Build backend services that meet business and scalability requirements.
  • Collaborate on B2B solutions, including customization and integration needs for enterprise clients.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
  • Contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced, flat organization.
  • Help maintain and improve services across payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js (required).
  • Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized deployments (preferred).
  • Experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, strategic, and highly autonomous team environment.
