Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Build and ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
  • Support the growth of the iOS app and new user base.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers on product direction.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction and owning engineering for the product.
  • Strong customer obsession and focus on delivering the best possible user experience.
  • Product thinking and ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution.
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and balance speed with long-term work.
  • Comfort working in a fast-growing, busy remote team and knowing when to engage or work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
  • Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with the Swift programming language.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Experience with Fastlane.
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
