Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Build and ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions to help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction.
  • Ability to make thoughtful product and engineering decisions with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work quickly and prioritize what can ship now versus what needs more time.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and designers.
  • Swift programming language experience.
  • SwiftUI experience.
  • Experience with multithreading programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and writing classes accordingly.
