Description

Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
Ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
Work within a dedicated product team.
Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap.
Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
Contribute to new projects that support the app’s growth and user base.
Collaborate with internal teams and designers to guide product direction.

Requirements

Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction.
Experience owning the engineering of a product.
Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering the best possible user experience.
Product thinking and the ability to make thoughtful product evolution decisions.
Ability to work quickly and balance what should ship now versus later.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, busy, remote startup environment.
Technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI.
Experience with multithreading programming.
Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane.
Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
Strong understanding of SOLID principles.
Strong communication skills and solid work ethic.
