Description

  • Take projects from specification through deployment using Claude Code and other coding agents to do most of the implementation work.
  • Author CLAUDE.md files, reusable skills, and prompt systems that produce consistent results.
  • Manage context, sub-agents, memory, and token usage across long-running tasks.
  • Drive test-first development with agents using hooks, verification patterns, and guardrails to prevent cheating.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployments, databases, secrets, and monitoring.
  • Review agent-generated output, refactor incorrect code, and ensure only production-ready work is shipped.
  • Handle Git workflows including branches, rebases, worktrees, merges, and conflict resolution.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across codebases, deployments, infrastructure, and multi-file changes.
  • Apply security best practices across auth, secrets, validation, permissions, and prompt-injection risks.
  • Communicate progress and risks clearly, especially when work becomes harder than expected.

Requirements

  • Real, demonstrable Claude Code experience with shipped applications, not just prototypes.
  • Fluency with CLAUDE.md, skills, sub-agents, hooks, MCP servers, plan mode, and slash commands.
  • Experience with at least one other coding agent such as Cursor, Codex, Copilot, Amp, or Cline.
  • Experience writing reusable skills, system prompts, or agent definitions that produce consistent output.
  • Strong context engineering skills, including when to summarize, spawn sub-agents, clear context, or restart.
  • Experience with external memory, RAG, filesystem memory, and structured handoffs across sessions.
  • Ability to optimize token and model usage for cost and task fit.
  • Strong Git skills, including branches, rebases, worktrees, clean commits, and conflict resolution.
  • Deployment experience with Next.js on Vercel, backends on Fly or Railway, or containers on AWS.
  • Postgres-class database experience, ideally with Supabase or similar tools such as Neon, RDS, or PlanetScale.
  • Understanding of schemas, indexes, migrations, foreign keys, transactions, and Row Level Security.
  • Security knowledge covering secrets management, env vars, OAuth, JWTs, sessions, CORS, validation, prompt injection, scoped tool permissions, and OWASP Top 10.
  • Networking and infrastructure basics, including DNS, HTTPS, environment isolation, logging, error tracking, and uptime monitoring.
  • Ability to read, debug, and reason across multiple files, languages, and stacks.
  • Experience making coding agents do test-first development with appropriate guardrails.
  • Testing experience with tools such as pytest, Jest, Vitest, or Playwright, with meaningful coverage.
  • Experience with eval frameworks for agent quality, not just deterministic tests.
  • Comfort reviewing code carefully and not merging work you have not read.
  • Honest, proactive communication when risks, blockers, or complexity increase.
