Description

  • Lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS app.
  • Build and ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
  • Work within a dedicated product team to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in product discussions and help shape the product roadmap.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing complex iOS app architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and designers to guide product direction.
  • Support the app’s growth by helping serve a rapidly expanding user base.

Requirements

  • Experience building products that have scaled to a large user base.
  • Track record of working on products from inception to meaningful traction.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering a high-quality user experience.
  • Product thinking and ability to make thoughtful product evolution decisions.
  • Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • Comfort balancing fast execution with deciding what should ship now versus later.
  • Strong focus and ability to work effectively in a busy remote team.
  • Experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with multithreaded programming.
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Experience with Fastlane.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and writing classes accordingly.
  • Experience with Git and different Git strategies.
