Description

Find new sources of audio data and integrate them into the ingestion pipeline.
Operate and extend cloud infrastructure for the ingestion pipeline on GCP using Terraform.
Collaborate with scientists to improve the cost, throughput, and quality of data collection for model training.
Work with the AI team and Speechify leadership to define the dataset roadmap for next-generation consumer and enterprise products.
Support the collection of high-quality datasets at petabyte scale and low cost.
Contribute to the infrastructure, engineering, and research work needed for data generation and model training operations.

Requirements

BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of industry experience in software development.
Proficiency with bash and Python scripting in Linux environments.
Proficiency in Docker and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
Professional experience with at least one major cloud provider, with GCP preferred.
Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
