Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
  • Reduce project scope when appropriate to enable faster customer feedback.
  • Navigate integration and user experience tradeoffs across different product teams.
  • Optimize existing functionality to improve loading speed and parsing quality.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms to enhance product performance.
  • Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
  • Systems thinking with an ability to design end-to-end solutions and value simplicity.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a remote, high-growth startup environment and knowing when to collaborate versus work heads down.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Preferred experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Java experience is acceptable, though the role is centered on Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Ability to share a portfolio and LinkedIn profile when applying.
