Description

  • Collaborate with Product teams to scope projects and deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
  • Reduce project scope when needed to accelerate customer feedback.
  • Navigate integration and UX tradeoffs across different product teams.
  • Design more efficient abstractions to improve performance and functionality.
  • Improve algorithms to support faster loading and smarter parsing.
  • Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of foundational services and SDKs that power the product experience.
  • Work at the intersection of product and infrastructure to create clear, reliable APIs and simple systems.

Requirements

  • Experience as a software engineer in a role focused on product and infrastructure.
  • Strong systems thinking with an end-to-end approach to optimization.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a high-growth, remote startup environment with a need for focus.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable, but the role is primarily Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
  • Ability to think strategically about APIs, systems, and product experience.
