Description

Own projects from ideation through deployment, taking initiative to move work forward with minimal ambiguity.
Design and build new systems that enable new products and unlock additional revenue.
Improve and refine existing clearing systems to deliver meaningful, tangible outcomes.
Work on post-trade and clearing infrastructure that is essential to broker-dealer operations.
Support integrations that expand self-clearing capabilities and new product offerings.
Contribute to securities finance-related functions, including infrastructure for offerings such as fully paid securities lending.
Participate in the on-call rotation to help keep production systems reliable and healthy.
Collaborate with teams across the company and influence what is built and how it is built.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience building reliable and distributed systems.
Productive with Go, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.
Ability to design good RESTful APIs and recognize poor API design.
Strong foundational knowledge of how computers, the internet, databases, and distributed systems work.
Experience working at startups and comfort with shifting priorities and imperfect systems.
Ability to take the lead on projects and carry work through with limited guidance.
Willingness to take responsibility individually and as part of the team.
Ability to push back constructively and accept final decisions when they differ from your view.
Experience in securities clearing and settlement or securities finance (nice to have).
Experience with gRPC, Protobuf, Temporal, Grafana, Kafka/Redpanda, Helm, and Docker (nice to have).
