Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
  • Reduce project scope where appropriate to enable faster customer feedback.
  • Navigate integration and user experience tradeoffs across different product teams.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms to optimize existing functionality.
  • Ship faster loading and more intelligent parsing features.
  • Build cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs in Kotlin.

Requirements

  • Systems thinking with an end-to-end approach to optimizing systems.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Ability to stay focused and manage priorities in a busy remote startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable, but the role is focused on Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience working in a high-growth startup or fast-paced product environment is preferred.
  • Ability to think strategically about product and infrastructure tradeoffs.
