Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
  • Reduce project scope where possible to enable faster customer feedback.
  • Navigate integration and UX tradeoffs across different product teams.
  • Design and improve abstractions and algorithms to optimize existing functionality.
  • Build faster loading and more intelligent parsing features.
  • Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

Requirements

  • Experience as a senior-level software engineer building product-facing systems and infrastructure.
  • Systems-thinking mindset with an emphasis on end-to-end design and simplicity.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote startup environment with the ability to balance focus and collaboration.
  • Experience collaborating with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Preferred experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable, but the role is centered on Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Interest in working across product and infrastructure to design clear, reliable APIs and simple systems.
