Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and define practical delivery approaches.
  • Reduce project scope where needed to enable faster customer feedback.
  • Navigate integration and UX tradeoffs across different product teams.
  • Deliver solutions through Speechify’s cross-platform SDK.
  • Optimize existing functionality for faster loading and more intelligent parsing.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms.
  • Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

Requirements

  • Systems thinking with an end-to-end approach to system design and simplicity.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Ability to focus and operate effectively in a fast-moving remote startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Kotlin Multiplatform experience is preferred; Java experience is acceptable.
  • Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience working on foundational services, SDKs, or platform-level product infrastructure is implied by the role.
