Description

Design and build full-stack features that are fast, reliable, and user-focused.
Ship features end-to-end across the backend and frontend.
Collaborate closely with product and design on feature development.
Make architecture decisions that support platform growth and scalability.
Help keep systems running smoothly as the platform scales.
Review code and share knowledge with teammates.
Mentor and support other engineers to help level up the team.
Contribute to technical direction for the engineering team.

Requirements

7+ years of experience building production systems.
Expertise with Elixir/Phoenix, or equivalent frameworks such as Rails or Django.
Strong frontend experience with React, or similar frameworks such as Vue or Svelte.
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and search tools like Elasticsearch.
Track record of owning systems end-to-end and delivering high-quality code.
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Cursor.
Experience at a fast-moving startup or SaaS company (preferred).
Deep Elixir/Phoenix or LiveView experience (preferred).
Exposure to Kubernetes, Kafka, GraphQL, or distributed systems (preferred).
Passion for helping teammates grow (preferred).
