Description

Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, reduce scope for faster customer feedback, and navigate integration and UX tradeoffs.
Deliver solutions through Speechify’s cross-platform SDK.
Optimize existing functionality for faster loading and more intelligent parsing by designing more efficient abstractions and improving algorithms.
Build and ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
Work at the intersection of product and infrastructure to design clear, reliable APIs and simple systems that improve the user experience.

Requirements

Experience building foundational services and SDKs for cross-platform products.
Strong systems thinking with an end-to-end approach to optimization and a preference for simplicity.
Ability to work quickly, evaluate tradeoffs, and decide what can ship now versus what needs more time.
Ability to stay focused and work effectively in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment.
Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and product managers.
Preferred experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable but the role is centered on Kotlin Multiplatform.
Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
