Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and balance integration and UX tradeoffs.
  • Reduce project scope to enable faster customer feedback and delivery.
  • Deliver solutions through Speechify’s cross-platform SDK.
  • Optimize existing functionality for faster loading and more intelligent parsing.
  • Design more efficient abstractions and improve algorithms.
  • Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a senior software engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong systems thinking with an end-to-end approach to design.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Comfort working in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Kotlin Multiplatform experience is preferred; Java experience is acceptable.
  • Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
