Description

  • Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and deliver solutions through the cross-platform SDK.
  • Reduce project scope where appropriate to enable faster customer feedback.
  • Navigate integration and UX tradeoffs across different product teams.
  • Design more efficient abstractions to improve loading speed and parsing quality.
  • Improve algorithms to optimize existing functionality.
  • Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
  • Work at the intersection of product and infrastructure to build clear, reliable APIs and simple systems.

Requirements

  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable, but the role is focused on Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong systems thinking with an end-to-end approach to optimization.
  • Ability to work quickly, generate options, and decide what can ship now versus later.
  • Ability to stay focused and work effectively in a busy, remote, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Preference for simple, reliable systems and clear APIs.
