Description

  • Own and support day-to-day DevOps activities across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Design, maintain, and optimise secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Manage Kubernetes environments and support containerised application deployments.
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation processes.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform reliability.
  • Maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitOps practices.
  • Collaborate with development and security teams to improve system performance and stability.
  • Support security, compliance, and DevSecOps initiatives across infrastructure and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident response, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and operational excellence of cloud platforms and services.
  • Continuously improve deployment workflows, operational processes, and infrastructure standards.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, including reusable modules and state management for multi-environment setups.
  • Understanding of AWS Organizations, including multi-account strategies and Service Control Policies (SCPs).
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and EKS, including Managed Node Groups, Fargate, and Cluster Autoscaler.
  • Experience managing application releases with Helm charts.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Scripting proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for automation.
  • Experience implementing SAST/DAST and container image scanning in pipelines.
  • Proficiency with AWS Secrets Manager or HashiCorp Vault.
  • Basic understanding of PCI DSS or SOC 2 requirements, including audit logs, encryption, and access reviews.
  • Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for Kubernetes monitoring.
  • Experience with centralized logging tools such as ELK, CloudWatch Logs, or Loki.
  • Familiarity with AWS X-Ray or OpenTelemetry for distributed tracing.
  • Experience with on-call rotations and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD, preferred.
  • Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd, preferred.
