Description

  • Plan capacity and allocate resources across multiple AI/ML projects and operational commitments.
  • Partner with project and technical leads to establish delivery plans, milestones, staffing models, and priorities.
  • Track project progress, dependencies, risks, and resource constraints, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Resolve delivery blockers, priority conflicts, and cross-team dependencies.
  • Facilitate planning across MLE and MLOps teams using Agile, Lean, and Fast-Flow practices.
  • Manage and coach engineers through one-to-ones, career discussions, feedback, and development planning.
  • Support performance, promotion, compensation, hiring, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning processes.
  • Identify team capability gaps and foster an inclusive, collaborative, high-performing environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in people management, engineering management, or technical program leadership.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML modeling, systems, and development lifecycles.
  • Experience managing multiple technical projects with shared resources and cross-team dependencies.
  • Strong capacity planning, resource allocation, project execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience supporting the performance and career development of technical employees.
  • Ability to understand technical discussions and collaborate effectively with MLE and MLOps teams.
  • Experience working with distributed or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Upper-intermediate or higher English and fluent Ukrainian.
  • Preferred: experience with MLE/MLOps teams, matrix organizations, production ML, generative AI, semantic search, or data-intensive industries.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, and cloud platforms.
