Description

  • Drive complex silicon projects from kickoff through production.
  • Track and communicate schedules and milestones for front-end and back-end ASIC development tasks.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to enable fast silicon bring-up.
  • Collaborate with the silicon team and supply chain to identify suppliers for silicon development.
  • Lead discussions with internal and external teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate silicon development activities across systems, firmware, architecture, design, validation, product engineering, and ASIC implementation teams.
  • Support development of next-generation ASICs for deployment in space and ground infrastructure.
  • Help expand the performance and capabilities of the Starlink network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years of technical project or program management experience.
  • Master’s degree in an engineering discipline preferred.
  • Experience leading satellite and/or consumer product lifecycle projects preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder communication across the company.
  • Knowledge of digital and/or analog/RF ASIC design processes from project kickoff to tape-out preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with external IP and EDA tool vendors preferred.
  • Experience working with advanced node fabs, package substrate, and OSAT partners preferred.
  • Understanding of the steps required to go from engineering wafers to mass production preferred.
  • Experience with silicon design, bring-up, qualification, and ramp-up to production, as well as pre-silicon testing, wafer and package ATE testing, silicon packaging, reliability qualification, PCB schematics and layout, and software drivers/diagnostic scripts preferred.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements.
  • Proficiency with project/program management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence or equivalent tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, typically less than 10%.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet critical deadlines.
  • Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
