Description

  • Support Starlink factory maintenance activities.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of user terminal components, subassemblies, and final products.
  • Use hand tools, handheld measurement tools, and light equipment to complete assembly and maintenance work.
  • Operate, program, load, troubleshoot, and maintain automated equipment and execute calibration schedules.
  • Manage inventory for consumables, stock, and engineering or development shop requests.
  • Assist engineers and technicians with development builds, factory maintenance, and site improvements.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Ensure product quality, conformance to design requirements, and a strong focus on safety.
  • Maintain clean, organized workspaces and keep computer records up to date.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as directed and support general facility needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • Previous maintenance or production experience.
  • 3+ years of mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Experience working in electro-mechanical, precision, or high-volume manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience with electrical wiring preferred.
  • Electro-mechanical assembly and prototype development experience preferred.
  • Experience setting up and running tests and experiments preferred.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from drawings and controlled documentation, including layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists.
  • Ability to use power tools, hand tools, a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must be physically capable of manual labor, including lifting 25 lbs. unassisted, standing for up to 8 hours, working on lifts and ladders, stooping, bending, crawling, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate PPE for a lab and electro-chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to work all shifts as needed, including A, B, C, and D shifts.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must meet ITAR requirements and be a U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorization.
