Description

  • Directly manage a team of software engineers.
  • Own the prioritization, implementation, and delivery of a system roadmap.
  • Provide technical leadership with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Manage multiple priorities while keeping work aligned to common project goals.
  • Develop highly reliable and highly available software systems.
  • Collaborate with leaders across the department and company to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Lead and support engineers from both a technical and personnel development perspective.
  • Design and produce solutions for challenging application software problems with full ownership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a science discipline plus 3+ years of software development experience, or 6+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 1+ years of experience with object-oriented programming.
  • 1+ years of experience leading software teams or projects.
  • Programming experience in Python, C#, .NET, Go, Java, or a similar object-oriented language.
  • Front-end experience with Angular, React, or a similar JavaScript framework.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar database technologies.
  • 4+ years of experience building single-page web applications.
  • Expertise in designing software systems, testing and infrastructure, and profiling/improving application performance.
  • Domain expertise in manufacturing systems, supply chain systems, or warehouse management systems is preferred.
  • Strong desire to mentor and grow employees, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorization.

  • Base salary range of $160,000 to $225,000 per year for the Lead level.
  • Eligibility for long-term incentives, including company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards.
