Description

  • Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier IT support to SpaceX employees.
  • Manage on-site inventory and the full lifecycle of IT assets.
  • Procure, configure, and deploy computer hardware and mobile cellular devices.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues both in person and remotely.
  • Configure and troubleshoot desktop, label, and large multifunction printers.
  • Provide network support and troubleshooting, including device connectivity and VLAN configuration.
  • Configure non-traditional network-attached devices and interface them with SpaceX infrastructure.
  • Develop new workflows and solutions with IT engineering and other internal/external teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Write instructional documentation and translate technical information for non-technical users.
  • Support onboarding, setup, installation, repair, replacement, and asset recovery for IT services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
  • 1+ years of professional experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, printers, software, and IP networks in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience supporting Mac iOS and Linux environments preferred.
  • Technical certifications such as A+, Network+, or MCSE preferred.
  • Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment preferred.
  • Ability to work with mission-critical and sensitive systems with appropriate urgency.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining patient through frequent interruptions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and phone communication skills.
  • Must be physically able to regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as needed.
  • Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise able to obtain required authorization.

Benefits

  • Hourly pay range of $31.00-$37.00 for Level 1, $36.00-$42.00 for Level 2, and $40.00-$47.00 for Level 3.
