Description

  • Own the scalability, stability, and availability of low-latency, mission-critical systems across environments.
  • Architect, build, and maintain company-wide technical infrastructure for all environments.
  • Design and operate high-availability and disaster recovery solutions (including EKS on AWS).
  • Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and apply GitOps practices (ArgoCD).
  • Build, maintain, and manage infrastructure as code (Terraform) and generate/maintain Helm manifests for Kubernetes.
  • Set up, maintain, and operate monitoring and observability using NewRelic, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Manage networking components including VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls, and implement securing of production infrastructure.
  • Debug infrastructure issues, detect bottlenecks, resolve 24x7 incidents, and escalate to upper tiers when necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization of infrastructure and document incident investigations and postmortems.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of DevOps experience working with production applications.
  • At least 1 year working with Terraform.
  • At least 1 year working with monitoring tools such as NewRelic, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud and hands-on experience building high-availability infrastructure with EKS on AWS.
  • Knowledge of containerized environments with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux internals, networking, routing, and protocols.
  • Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD) and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions).
  • Experience designing and architecting high-performing applications and familiarity with Agile development practices.
  • Ability to work remotely from Egypt, Uzbekistan, or Pakistan and be available Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Saudi Arabian Time.
  • Experience in a fast-growing startup and AWS certifications are preferred.
