Description

  • Lead new business initiatives related to SIM/eSIM/iSIM and IoT connectivity.
  • Conduct market and technology research on 3GPP/GSMA standards and global industry trends.
  • Evaluate new technologies and connectivity architectures to support product innovation.
  • Develop technical and commercial proposals and business cases for new offerings.
  • Manage technical and commercial relationships with SIM/eSIM vendors.
  • Review vendor product and technical roadmaps for SIM and module partners.
  • Conduct price negotiations, contract reviews, and cost optimization activities.
  • Collaborate with module vendors and device partners on interoperability, certification, and joint solution development.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to reseller partners and OEMs, including presentations, PoC support, and solution design guidance.
  • Work with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Support to translate market needs into product improvements and internal enablement materials.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in technical business development, procurement, or vendor management in Telecom, MNO/MVNO, or IoT industries.
  • Proven ability to manage commercial negotiations and contract discussions with global suppliers.
  • Understanding of SIM, eSIM, and eUICC technology and related telecom standards such as GSMA, 3GPP, ETSI, and Global Platform.
  • Understanding of cellular technology and related telecom standards such as GSMA and 3GPP.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Experience working with stakeholders in engineering, operations, product, and legal.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong commercial awareness.
  • Comfortable working remotely in a global, multicultural environment.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Work experience in the IoT industry is desirable.
  • Familiarity with IoT module vendors is desirable.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing tech start-up is desirable.
  • Experience working with remote teams across different time zones is desirable.
  • Exposure to RFQ, RFI, and RFP processes and vendor evaluation frameworks is desirable.
  • Base in the UK or Europe is preferred.
