Description

  • Provide delivery leadership within the Solutions Delivery Engineering team to improve engagement quality, consistency, and best practices.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex or high-impact customer engagements and help guide issue resolution.
  • Mentor other Solutions Delivery Engineers through delivery reviews, knowledge sharing, and peer guidance.
  • Improve service templates, delivery standards, and internal documentation to support consistency and scalability.
  • Share delivery insights and recurring patterns with cross-functional partners to support continuous improvement.
  • Consolidate regional delivery updates, risks, and escalations for review with management.
  • Deliver Sonatype service offerings including implementation, configuration, and structured customer guidance.
  • Support migration activities by executing data and configuration tasks, validating completion, and aligning to target state requirements.
  • Provide product-specific guidance, troubleshoot within engagement scope, and present options for issues and risks.
  • Manage engagement timelines, expectations, communication, documentation, working sessions, and customer discussions.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, software delivery, or related work.
  • Knowledge of repository management, artifact workflows, CI/CD tools, containers, and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, modern build ecosystems, and SDLC.
  • Ability to work with Groovy, Bash, Python, Helm, or YAML when required.
  • Ability to lead customer engagements with clear communication, documentation, and ownership.
  • Demonstrated experience providing delivery leadership, peer guidance, or escalation support in a regional or team-based environment.
  • Experience with migration or modernization projects (nice to have).
  • Exposure to enterprise DevOps, software security, or supply chain practices (nice to have).
  • Experience working with global, cross-functional teams (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with SaaS delivery models or cloud-based deployment patterns (nice to have).
