Description

  • Combine data from multiple sources, including APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
  • Design and execute ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as Cloud Composer/Airflow and Dataflow.
  • Develop robust and efficient data pipelines and implement data transformation logic.
  • Optimize BigQuery queries and resource usage to reduce costs and improve performance.
  • Maintain data quality, availability, and security in line with industry best practices.
  • Improve, maintain, and support data integrations used in retail reporting.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a Data or Software Engineer in a senior role.
  • Prior experience with dbt and Python is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as GitLab is required.
  • Experience with at least one public cloud service is required.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud and cloud data warehousing is highly beneficial.
  • Experience with BigQuery or Snowflake is preferred.
  • Experience integrating BigQuery or Snowflake with dbt is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Terraform is strongly desired.
