Description

  • Use a design thinking process to define and execute vision for team initiatives.
  • Develop user-centered design solutions based on research, member insights, and industry best practices.
  • Lead innovation efforts and help drive alignment around a unified outcome.
  • Work across the full product lifecycle, from vision and strategy through execution and engineering handoff.
  • Collaborate closely with Research, Product Management, and Engineering to iterate and move programs forward.
  • Partner with designers across other product areas to ensure consistency across the overall user experience.
  • Create system maps, user flows, prototypes, and page-level specifications for stakeholders.
  • Work with design systems teams to improve and leverage templates and components.
  • Prototype user experiences to test with stakeholders and end users and support internal alignment.
  • Contribute to scaling design best practices across the broader company and design organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product design or UX roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including detailed articulation of strategy and processes.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to define product strategy.
  • Ability to use metrics to inform design decisions and measure success.
  • Experience using design thinking tools such as design sprints to align stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Expertise in mobile and web UX best practices across iOS, Android, and responsive web.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Research, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Ability to translate user research, user needs, and product data into design solutions.
  • Experience presenting work and rationale to senior leadership.
  • Experience setting and managing design priorities through planning and execution.
  • Passion for team building and developing design team culture.
  • Experience in personal finance, home loans, data visualization, e-commerce, or social experiences is preferred.
  • Experience working with remote teams and stakeholders is preferred.
  • Experience working on both B2B and B2C products is preferred.
