Description

  • Own the post-loan funding experience across SoFi’s lending products and help scale the servicing platform.
  • Partner with engineering, research, data science, design, legal, operations, and business stakeholders to launch new capabilities.
  • Define product strategy and drive execution in a highly cross-functional environment.
  • Drive member engagement, cross-sell opportunities, and member lifetime value as SoFi expands its product offerings.
  • Set clear direction in ambiguous and evolving problem spaces.
  • Translate member needs into prioritized product decisions and clear definitions of success.
  • Use data and metrics to evaluate results and iterate on product changes.
  • Manage execution across multiple teams while keeping stakeholders aligned.
  • Communicate effectively through written documents, meetings, and leadership updates.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or another regulated, data-intensive environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a feature or product area end-to-end.
  • Strong customer instincts with the ability to identify the right problems, prioritize confidently, and define what success looks like for members.
  • Technical fluency to discuss system architecture, trade-offs, and feasibility with engineers.
  • Clear written and oral communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging for engineers and leadership.
  • Experience using data to drive decisions by pulling metrics, reading results, and iterating based on evidence.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, operations, compliance, legal, and finance.
  • Experience in lending, loan servicing, payments, or financial services operations (preferred).
  • Familiarity with third-party servicer integrations or complex vendor relationships (preferred).
  • Exposure to compliance-related product work such as fair lending, regulatory reporting, or audit readiness (preferred).
  • Comfort with SQL or self-serve data analysis tools (preferred).
  • Experience with legacy system modernization or platform migration initiatives (preferred).
