Description

Own the post-loan funding experience across SoFi’s lending products and help scale the servicing platform.
Partner with engineering, research, data science, design, legal, operations, and business stakeholders to launch new capabilities.
Define product strategy and drive execution in a highly cross-functional environment.
Drive member engagement, cross-sell opportunities, and member lifetime value as SoFi expands its product offerings.
Set clear direction in ambiguous and evolving problem spaces.
Translate member needs into prioritized product decisions and clear definitions of success.
Use data and metrics to evaluate results and iterate on product changes.
Manage execution across multiple teams while keeping stakeholders aligned.
Communicate effectively through written documents, meetings, and leadership updates.

Requirements

3+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or another regulated, data-intensive environment.
Demonstrated ability to own a feature or product area end-to-end.
Strong customer instincts with the ability to identify the right problems, prioritize confidently, and define what success looks like for members.
Technical fluency to discuss system architecture, trade-offs, and feasibility with engineers.
Clear written and oral communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging for engineers and leadership.
Experience using data to drive decisions by pulling metrics, reading results, and iterating based on evidence.
Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, operations, compliance, legal, and finance.
Experience in lending, loan servicing, payments, or financial services operations (preferred).
Familiarity with third-party servicer integrations or complex vendor relationships (preferred).
Exposure to compliance-related product work such as fair lending, regulatory reporting, or audit readiness (preferred).
Comfort with SQL or self-serve data analysis tools (preferred).
Experience with legacy system modernization or platform migration initiatives (preferred).
