Description

  • Define and execute the product vision for digital home lending, including differentiated innovation and market positioning.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog for an engineering squad, translating strategy into detailed requirements.
  • Partner with developers to deliver iteratively across near-term opportunities and long-term goals.
  • Own product instrumentation and data to improve decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead experimentation to accelerate learning and measure customer and business impact.
  • Identify and launch new functionality that reduces friction and improves application completion.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, marketing, operations, legal, compliance, capital markets, and executives.
  • Make trade-offs and decisions in a fast-paced agile environment while maintaining strategic focus.
  • Champion SoFi’s values and contribute to a strong team culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in a technical, finance, or quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience developing and launching features across both 1st and 3rd party platforms.
  • Strong focus on maintaining a high-quality user experience.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership.
  • Experience delivering quality software that solves business and user needs.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, including comfort with financial and operational metrics.
  • Experience owning end-to-end product delivery from discovery through launch and iteration.
  • High bias for action and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving cross-functional environments.
  • Ability to work with remote teams.
  • Experience with hypothesis-based product experimentation (preferred).
  • Experience speaking with users, gathering insights, and translating them into product enhancements (preferred).
  • Experience in the fintech space (preferred).
