Description

  • Support Workday Financials through configuration of business processes, condition rules, and validations.
  • Create and maintain complex Workday financial reports.
  • Participate in bi-annual Workday release regression testing and adoption of new features.
  • Stay current on the Workday roadmap and propose improvements within areas of focus.
  • Serve as a technical expert supporting the broader finance team on Workday reporting.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, People, and other teams on Workday integrations and reporting needs.
  • Design, develop, and deliver scalable reporting solutions using Workday and other tools.
  • Perform daily administrative and production support tasks as needed.
  • Develop and deliver training on SoFi financial business processes and Workday usage.
  • Manage relationships, deliverables, and expectations with business partners while working independently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a business-related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience configuring and supporting at least 2 Workday modules, such as Supplier Accounts, Customers, Projects and Billing, Business Assets, Expenses, Banking and Settlement, Financial Accounting, or Accounting Center.
  • Subject matter expertise in Workday Financial Reporting, including Advanced and Matrix reporting.
  • Experience with at least one of the following modules: Supplier Accounts or Customers.
  • Experience with multiple subsidiary structures and different functional currencies.
  • Experience with ETLs/ELTs related to Workday integrations.
  • Experience with SOX compliance.
  • Preferred experience with Workday Pro certifications.
  • Preferred experience with Workday Financial Reporting tools such as Composite, Discovery Boards, Prism, and Office Connect.
  • Preferred experience with consolidations and FDM design, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Preferred experience with SQL, including Snowflake, and with Tableau.
  • Preferred experience with finance planning tools such as Planning Analytics (TM1), Alteryx, integration platforms such as Fivetran or Mulesoft, and Jira/Confluence or similar Scrum management tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Spanish fluency is a plus.
