Description

  • Own insights generation and follow-up for a major business unit, serving as the first point of contact for senior stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to support business teams in making informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Translate analysis into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for non-technical audiences.
  • Define requirements and help improve operational and analytical dashboards as user needs evolve.
  • Identify opportunities to build models and tools that surface healthcare inefficiencies and guide remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate across the organization to develop actions that improve outcomes and monitor initiative impact.
  • Scope and execute analytical requests independently, including defining questions, methodologies, and results with stakeholders.
  • Support strategic projects as assigned to meet business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical work experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports.
  • 3+ years of experience working with large datasets and distilling analyses into relevant insights using a structured, systematic approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated by 5+ examples or projects presenting analysis to leadership at Director level or above.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL, including filtering, aggregating, and building CTEs, or proficiency in R or Python, including Pandas, for loops, and statistical tests.
  • 3+ years of experience developing dashboards and working with Looker or other business intelligence/data visualization tools.
  • 3+ years of experience using Google Sheets or Excel, including VLOOKUP, nested IF statements, and connected Sheets.
  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare, consulting, finance, or the insurance industry.
  • 2+ years of experience preparing healthcare analytics and reporting, preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience managing value-based contracts at a payer or provider organization such as an ACO, CIN, or MSO, preferred.
  • Exposure to healthcare contract negotiations, risk adjustment, ACA marketplace, quality of care, or population health, preferred.
