Description

  • Complete transaction research requests for internal staff and members with urgency, meeting service and communication standards
  • Manage member follow-up and perform member callbacks to ensure research issues are resolved within regulatory timelines
  • Investigate transactions across ACH, wires, Zelle, debit card, and credit card and process necessary adjustments
  • Assist with daily settlements, posting, incident resolution, and General Ledger (G/L) reconciliation
  • Monitor automated file processing, perform data entry, generate reports, and meet processing deadlines
  • Work in partnership with the fraud team on fraud issues including account takeover investigations
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process maps as needed
  • Leverage analytical skills to identify and escalate issues that may indicate bank incidents and to proactively resolve operational problems
  • Assist front-office staff with questions and provide advice/training to less experienced team members
  • Review and maintain internal operational and financial controls to meet banking standards and support strategic process improvements

Requirements

  • High school diploma (required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant banking operations experience
  • Knowledge of ACH and banking transactions preferred but not required
  • Deep understanding of how the financial world works
  • Ability to analyze data with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • General accounting knowledge
  • Availability to work standard hours (8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday); hours may change based on volume and deadlines
