Description

  • Review post-closing loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver final loan packages to investors and other stakeholders within required timeframes.
  • Enter and maintain loan information in the company’s loan processing system.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external parties on post-closing documentation issues.
  • Identify, resolve, and track discrepancies in post-closing documents to support timely submission.
  • Stay current on mortgage regulations and ensure post-closing activities comply with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Perform quality control reviews on closed loan files to ensure they meet investor and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for post-closing loan documents.
  • Generate and analyze reports on post-closing activities and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage post-closing, loan processing, or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in mortgage software and MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex issues with minimal supervision.
  • In-depth understanding of mortgage loan processing, post-closing procedures, and regulatory requirements.
