Description

  • Develop the fraud first-line program assessment methodology and approach.
  • Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of the fraud program, including prevention, detection, and response capabilities.
  • Provide data-driven feedback and recommendations to improve fraud program resilience.
  • Monitor implementation of recommended improvements and track program changes against evolving fraud risks and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and document gaps between existing controls and required levels of risk protection.
  • Assess the fraud risk impact of new products and initiatives and provide effective challenge on risk appetite.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance considerations are integrated into the fraud risk framework.
  • Develop fraud standards and risk questions to support supplier risk management and vendor assessments.
  • Review fraud forecasts and forecasting methodologies and provide strategic insights to improve accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in risk management and analytic strategy within the financial services industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of banking products, processes, and regulations.
  • Expertise using SQL to navigate unfamiliar data environments and extract insights from complex, large-scale datasets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, influencing, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or within a group with minimal daily direction.
  • Intellectual curiosity and adaptability to change, with a willingness to challenge assumptions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience leading and managing meetings with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and deriving meaningful insights for decision-making.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and corporate governance standards.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong team player.
