Description

  • Lead and inspire a team of Market Managers and Market Associates to grow Airbnb’s Homes supply across Canada.
  • Partner with the Country Manager to execute country strategic plans and align local execution with national priorities.
  • Design and execute acquisition strategies to bring new, high-quality supply to Airbnb.
  • Develop and test new programs, pilots, and local initiatives to reach untapped segments and markets.
  • Guide territory-level strategies for acquisition, optimization, and host quality based on market maturity and host segmentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Leadership, Marketing, RevOps, Policy, and Product to launch growth initiatives.
  • Own business performance against revenue, supply, and quality KPIs and deliver sustainable results.
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, barriers, and regulatory shifts and translate them into action plans.
  • Coach and develop talent while building a high-performing, accountable, and experimental team culture.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in global operations, business development, or marketplace management.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience managing and scaling teams.
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian travel and hospitality landscape.
  • Experience driving local growth and community engagement.
  • Operational and commercial skills to acquire supply across multiple channels.
  • A bold, compassionate, and action-oriented leadership style with a strong bias for action.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to use data and insights to guide decisions.
  • Proven ability to influence product, policy, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using tools, dashboards, and analytics to assess performance and drive accountability.
  • Demonstrated success achieving strong results through others, including performance management and development of emerging leaders.
  • High proficiency in leading multiple initiatives simultaneously and turning strategy into action.
  • Previous experience growing supply and building partnerships with community and host groups is highly valued.
  • Must live in an eligible Canadian province where Airbnb Canada, Inc. has a registered entity, currently Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, or Saskatchewan.

Benefits

  • Annual base pay range of $164,000 to $205,000 CAD.
  • May be eligible for bonus.
  • May be eligible for equity.
  • May be eligible for benefits.
  • May be eligible for Employee Travel Credits.
  • Remote-eligible position in Canada.
  • Occasional work at an Airbnb office or offsite may be required by agreement with the manager.
