Description

  • Conduct fraud 1st line program assessments, including querying large relational databases.
  • Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of the fraud program, including prevention, detection, and response capabilities.
  • Provide data-driven feedback and recommendations to improve fraud program resilience.
  • Monitor implementation of recommended improvements and ongoing program changes in response to evolving fraud risks and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify discrepancies between existing controls and the level of risk protection required.
  • Assess the impact of new products and initiatives on fraud risk appetite and provide effective challenge.
  • Review fraud forecasts and forecasting methodologies and recommend improvements to forecasting accuracy.
  • Evaluate alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Identify exposure to fraud across business units, products, and channels.
  • Support recognition and understanding of vulnerabilities across the fraud program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in risk management or analytic strategy within the financial services industry preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or within a group with self-motivation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and deriving meaningful insights for decision-making.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong teamwork and adaptability to change.
  • Intellectual curiosity, including willingness to ask questions, test assumptions, and challenge conventional thinking.
