Description

  • Own the team’s technical vision and ensure timely delivery of commitments.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and operations of a multi-channel platform that can be managed or deployed on-prem.
  • Create sustainability and collective ownership within the squad.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to maintain alignment and communicate progress proactively.
  • Ensure engineering practices are reliable, secure, and scalable.
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and customer-centric thinking.
  • Support the career growth and professional development of up to 10 engineers across different levels and skill sets.
  • Help with scope planning, capacity planning, and delivery predictability with leadership.
  • Take initiative and deliver results in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a fully accredited college or university.
  • 6+ years of Java programming experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working on full-stack, multi-channel products.
  • Experience with a core stack of Java/React in a Kubernetes-based microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of web standards, performance, best practices, security, and browser internals.
  • Experience with ReactJS.
  • Experience with Java and NodeJS.
  • Experience in production operations and support.
  • Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, including design refinement, code reviews, and pull request management.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others, and drive work from inception to completion.
