Description

  • Centralize bureau engagement into a unified framework with strategic, contractual, and operational oversight across multiple product lines.
  • Partner with Procurement and internal stakeholders to maximize business value from credit reporting agency and FCRA vendor relationships.
  • Manage the credit reporting agency value chain, including both furnished data and the services consumed in return.
  • Execute a multi-year roadmap to improve spend efficiency, data integrity, and bureau performance.
  • Audit data consumption and analyze data quality metrics, credit reporting errors, and trend opportunities.
  • Implement and maintain risk management controls for credit bureau relationships and data usage.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including FCRA and GDPR.
  • Build a roadmap that reduces technical barriers for new data partners and enables switching providers based on performance.
  • Establish a value-based incentive model for data providers and prioritize vendors with differentiated data assets that improve underwriting, collections, and fraud prevention.
  • Partner with Risk, Data Science, and Engineering to evaluate new data assets in offline Value Discovery sessions before production integration.
  • Serve as the primary business liaison for major CRAs and auxiliary FCRA vendors and track industry and bureau-specific rule changes.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in credit data ecosystems, bureau operations, or fintech risk management.
  • Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar vendor relationships.
  • Experience navigating complex, large-scale RFP processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in modern data environments and translate complex data studies into executive-level business strategy.
  • Strong understanding of alternative and differentiated data assets, including trended data, utility/telco, and cash-flow analytics.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FCRA, GDPR, and related credit reporting/data usage compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment between technical and business teams.
  • Experience with strategic planning, vendor oversight, or bureau relationship management (preferred).
