Description

  • Design, build, and refine complex pricing models in SQL and Looker to automate and improve client savings projections.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Enterprise Data Warehouse development and validation.
  • Coordinate with Data and Engineering teams to align pricing logic with company data architecture and product roadmaps.
  • Contribute to the Pricing Analytics codebase by following development best practices, audit protocols, and code reviews.
  • Maintain a transparent roadmap for pricing tool enhancements and produce technical documentation for pipelines and internal logic.
  • Provide Tier 3 technical support for highly complex ad hoc analyses and peak-volume submission needs.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses on large datasets and communicate clear findings and insights.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners across email, Slack, phone, video call, and Jira.
  • Scope projects cross-functionally and develop self-service BI reporting and automation when appropriate.
  • Analyze existing reporting processes, identify inefficiencies or gaps, and implement solutions to improve operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a data analytics or pricing-focused role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, CTEs, and optimization.
  • Experience with Looker (LookML), Tableau, or similar BI tools.
  • Familiarity with GitHub/version control and project management tools such as Jira is highly preferred.
  • PBM or healthcare experience is a significant plus, especially with pharmacy claims data.
  • Ability to translate messy business requirements into clear, repeatable technical specifications.
  • Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and able to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in formula accuracy and clean code.
  • Ability to facilitate technical discussions with engineers and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
