Description

  • Provide people management and strategic leadership to the implementation team, including assignments, go-live audits, and implementation documentation.
  • Oversee multiple implementation projects and directly lead the largest or most complex client and channel partner implementations.
  • Ensure implementation work is completed on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
  • Contribute to strategic decisions that shape implementation processes and team operations.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training for client onboarding, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and client training.
  • Coach direct reports and build a cohesive team through leadership and strategic direction.
  • Own customer satisfaction for client implementations.
  • Support sales in finalist meetings and represent SmithRx’s implementation approach.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customer business challenges.
  • Manage cross-functional issue resolution for client escalations and coordinate internal and external teams as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of managerial experience required.
  • 8+ years of implementation and project management experience, including managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefits management (PBM), and third-party administrator (TPA) environments required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Empathetic, consultative communication style.
  • Robust analytical skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills across in-person meetings, conference calls, and written correspondence.
  • Self-starter with the ability to make informed decisions, solve difficult problems creatively, and deliver on commitments.
  • Execution-focused, solutions-oriented, and efficiency-driven mindset.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced technology company environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
