Description

  • Own end-to-end delivery for complex Ads Measurement programs from planning through launch.
  • Translate ambiguous problem statements into clear program charters, roadmaps, and decision points.
  • Identify and close gaps in requirements, ownership, resourcing, and data readiness.
  • Facilitate technical alignment and tradeoff decisions across architecture, design, accuracy, latency, privacy, and experimentation needs.
  • Work broadly across engineering, product, design, data analytics, sales, business development, research, and product marketing to drive outcomes.
  • Operate at Staff-level scope by managing strategic programs across multiple organizations and communicating status, risks, and proposals to senior leadership.
  • Build repeatable operating rhythms and program mechanisms such as intake, prioritization, RAID, decision logs, launch criteria, and post-launch learning loops.
  • Use GenAI to create first drafts of program artifacts and modernize high-toil workflows into AI-first processes.
  • Prototype dashboards, analyses, scripts, or internal tools to improve decision-making and simplify workflows.
  • Ensure AI-assisted workflows follow Pinterest’s governance, safety, data handling, and compliance expectations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a technical program manager or in a related role.
  • Experience leading new initiatives from the ground up and working effectively in ambiguity.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand technical designs, challenges, and risks.
  • Experience breaking down complex problems and driving decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to create and monitor metrics and identify growth opportunities and incidents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for nuanced technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to influence teams and align multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience creating efficient processes at scale.
  • Prior experience working in ads is preferred.
  • AI-first execution mindset with demonstrated use of GenAI to accelerate planning, operations, and communications.
  • Experience turning repeatable program work into durable, low-toil mechanisms using GenAI, dashboards, data analysis, scripts, or lightweight tools.
  • Experience operating within AI governance expectations, including risk assessment, data handling, validation, and auditability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, computer and information technology, or equivalent experience.

  • Base salary range of $145,747 to $300,067 USD for US-based applicants.
