Description

  • Create detailed architectural designs, blueprints, and related solution architecture artifacts.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and provide feedback on solution designs.
  • Manage client relationships to support negotiations, issue resolution, and identification of new opportunities.
  • Lead the design of scalable, efficient, and secure technical architectures for complex enterprise solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify software and system gaps and requirements.
  • Oversee roadmap prioritization and development to address gaps and align solutions with business strategy.
  • Provide strategic architectural guidance to internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work with business units, technical experts, and senior leaders to gather requirements and align expectations with technical capabilities.
  • Mentor solutions architects and engineers while promoting technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Identify risks, troubleshoot roadblocks, develop mitigation strategies, and create proofs-of-concept to validate solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the technology industry, with extensive experience in solution or enterprise architecture roles.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven success designing and delivering large-scale, complex software solutions.
  • Experience with electronic information exchange, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong technical and architecture expertise, including microservices architecture and scalable enterprise-caliber solutions.
  • HL7 FHIR experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build partnerships across clients, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear language for non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Formal IT architecture certifications such as TOGAF are beneficial but not required.
