Description

  • Develop, test, and maintain cloud-native RESTful APIs using Python, Go, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Build and manage Docker container images with attention to security, cost efficiency, and deployment practices.
  • Author, maintain, and version Helm charts for Kubernetes and OpenShift deployments, including upgrades and rollback support.
  • Build and support CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, monitoring, versioning, and rollback of SaaS services.
  • Monitor service performance, reliability, and scaling behavior, and implement improvements such as caching, concurrency, resource tuning, and horizontal autoscaling.
  • Develop and maintain serverless SaaS components using AWS CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, and ECS/Fargate.
  • Ensure high availability and fault tolerance through Kubernetes probes, resource limits, and namespace/network isolation.
  • Manage in-cluster dependencies such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, Grafana, and Elasticsearch using Helm or Operators.
  • Collaborate with security, operations, infrastructure, and architecture teams to meet security, compliance, logging, monitoring, and auditing requirements.
  • Troubleshoot production and staging issues, perform root cause analysis, and document architecture, deployment procedures, and cloud tool usage.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in cloud development or infrastructure engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience designing and building SaaS applications and multi-cloud solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Working knowledge of public cloud SDKs/APIs such as AWS SDK, Azure SDK, or GCP SDK.
  • Experience building APIs in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript; Go and GraphQL experience are relevant.
  • Strong experience with Docker, containerization best practices, Kubernetes, and OpenShift deployments.
  • Experience authoring and maintaining Helm charts and Operators for complex deployments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Elasticsearch, or Loki.
  • Strong understanding of AWS and Azure cloud services, including storage, secrets, and security services; Boto3 and AWS CDK are preferred.
  • Familiarity with GitOps tooling and principles.
  • Working experience with HashiCorp Terraform.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and strong in problem solving and troubleshooting.
