Description

  • Identify critical and repetitive test cases and automate them, including execution and ongoing maintenance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Develop and execute automation scripts in an Agile environment with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Create and execute test plans across multiple concurrent projects, document results, and help identify root causes.
  • Collaborate with teammates and customers to ensure requirements are testable and solutions are coherent, consistent, and complete.
  • Work with stakeholders to triage bugs, resolve issues in a timely manner, and support a culture of quality.
  • Develop a deep understanding of project context, objectives, use cases, and Smile Digital Health product functionality to plan testing activities.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Attend standups and planning meetings, contribute to risk and hazard identification, and support issue resolution.
  • Mentor new team members and support QA Leads as needed.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in automation software testing.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as RestAssured and Selenium.
  • Deep understanding of backend services, API testing, and UI testing approaches.
  • Proficiency in testing REST APIs using tools like Postman.
  • Strong programming skills, particularly in Java for test automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including setting up, configuring, and monitoring pipeline tools.
  • Hands-on experience with automation in the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in electronic health records or systems integration projects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
  • An undergraduate degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
