Description

  • Lead and develop a strategic Cloud and Managed Services team to support business growth and competitiveness.
  • Establish IT program management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices for delivery.
  • Define and execute the roadmap for deployment automation, infrastructure automation, and platform engineering.
  • Lead the Deployment Automation Engineering team in building and maintaining automation tooling, deployment pipelines, and platform capabilities.
  • Establish DevOps and Platform Engineering best practices, including Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, configuration management, release automation, and deployment standardization.
  • Provide operational leadership for the SaaS platform, ensuring high availability, scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure cloud platforms are designed and operated in line with security-by-design principles, regulatory requirements, and security policies.
  • Drive standardization and automation across deployment models to reduce manual effort and improve delivery speed.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Professional Services, Security, and Customer Success to improve reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational maturity.
  • Lead incident and problem resolution, coordinate technology changes, and maintain governance structures such as steering committees.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in senior cloud operations leadership within IT and cloud managed services.
  • 5+ years of experience with ITSM frameworks and best practices, including networking, cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise, and IT support.
  • 3+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes engineering teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Significant experience leading and developing software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering leaders.
  • Experience growing and scaling cloud operations and managed services with a strong customer focus.
  • Experience influencing strategic planning and decisions internally and with clients.
  • Strong ability to build and manage relationships with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience negotiating and managing client contracts or service agreements.
  • Deep understanding of cloud pricing and budget management.
  • Experience building or managing deployment automation platforms using Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience aligning with security frameworks and standards such as ITIL, HITRUST, ISO 27001/27017/27018, and SOC 2.
  • Experience with enterprise observability platforms, including logging, metrics, tracing, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISM, CCSP, CISSP, ITIL, or TOGAF are an asset.
