Description

  • Own the full accounting cycle, including journals, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close.
  • Mentor the Operations Assistant on accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
  • Serve as the primary contact for accounting partners in the UK, France, the US, and Spain.
  • Review and approve subsidiary financial statements and tax presentations, and support audits, statutory filings, and transfer pricing work.
  • Own end-to-end payroll across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Run regular accounts payable cycles and ensure funds availability for payments.
  • Prepare timely financial statements, KPI dashboards, budget-to-actual reporting, variance analysis, and cash flow reporting.
  • Challenge department leads on material budget deviations and present root-cause analysis to the CEO.
  • Streamline workflows between Sales, Account Management, Implementation, and Finance to eliminate reconciliation issues.
  • Drive AI adoption and automate finance workflows using modern tools and no-code systems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in accounting, including 3-5+ years in a senior or managerial role.
  • Hands-on multi-entity IFRS experience; Swiss GAAP and transfer pricing experience is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA, CPA, MSc, MBA, or equivalent qualification is a plus.
  • Practical command of QuickBooks, advanced Excel, and Google Sheets; Chargebee experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing AI or automation in a finance context.
  • Full professional English; French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
  • SaaS or scale-up experience is a plus.
  • SQL exposure is a plus.
  • Trustworthiness and the ability to take full ownership of Finance without close follow-up.
  • Precision and strong accuracy standards.
  • Fast, energetic, and action-oriented working style.
  • Process-driven mindset with a focus on repeatable, automated workflows.
  • AI-native mindset and comfort using tools as leverage.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate outcomes clearly.
  • Calm under pressure during month-end, audits, and escalations.
