Description

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and advisory support to a portfolio of law firm clients.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for multiple firms.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement cash flow management strategies to support financial stability.
  • Track and improve key performance indicators to drive profitability and performance.
  • Support practice management through utilization, realization, billing, collections, and expense analysis.
  • Conduct risk management assessments and recommend ways to mitigate financial risk.
  • Help select and implement financial software and tools to streamline processes.
  • Prepare financial reports and present recommendations to firm leaders and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • CPA or CFA designation preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a VP, Director of Finance, or Controller in a business doing $2.5M+.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of legal industry financial metrics and KPIs.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Proficiency with financial software and systems, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Law firm experience preferred.
  • Experience with EOS is a plus.
