Description

  • Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range modeling for growth and clinic performance.
  • Lead evaluation and implementation of AI-powered tools and automation across core finance processes.
  • Partner with IT and data teams to integrate AI/ML capabilities into finance systems and track automation ROI.
  • Ensure timely GAAP-compliant consolidated financial statements, audits, tax, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee multi-site financial consolidation, chart of accounts standardization, and close/reporting cadence.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, banking relationships, and capital planning.
  • Support M&A due diligence, financial modeling, and post-acquisition integration planning.
  • Own accounts payable and payroll operations across the partner network, including controls and automation.
  • Build, mentor, and lead the finance team, including AP and Payroll staff.
  • Prepare board, CEO, and investor reporting with actionable financial analysis.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of finance leadership experience at the Senior Controller, Director, or VP level.
  • Experience in multi-site healthcare, veterinary, or professional services organizations strongly preferred.
  • Experience in private equity-backed or roll-up/consolidation environments is a plus.
  • Proven success leading finance process automation or AI implementation initiatives.
  • Experience with multi-entity consolidation, GAAP reporting, and month-end/quarter-end close.
  • Experience managing FP&A, accounting, treasury, accounts payable, and payroll functions.
  • Experience supporting M&A due diligence and post-acquisition financial integration.
  • Proficiency with ERP and financial systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks; NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred; CPA or equivalent preferred.

Benefits

  • $150,000-$170,000 salary, depending on experience.

  • Remote role with no fixed hours.
  • Core business hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
  • Flexible schedule during month-end, quarter-end, and acquisition integration periods.
