Description

  • Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, long-range planning, and ad hoc financial planning.
  • Build and maintain unit-level models covering new openings, unit economics, labor strategy, pricing, and investments.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop assumptions, validate forecasts, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor performance, identify financial risks and opportunities, and translate results into recommendations.
  • Build deal models, support financial due diligence, and assist with post-merger integration and synergy tracking.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and establish performance targets for business units.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages, KPI dashboards, variance analyses, and executive or Board presentations.
  • Analyze unit-level sales, labor, costs, expenses, and margins to explain trends and performance.
  • Improve complex Excel models, automate reporting, and partner with Accounting during month-end close.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, public accounting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Prior M&A and/or private equity experience, including deal modeling, due diligence, or portfolio-company FP&A/value creation work.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including three-statement, LBO, accretion/dilution, unit economics, scenario, and sensitivity modeling.
  • Experience with AI modeling, SQL, and other BI tools preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional, non-financial stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • MBA or CFA preferred.
